In a word: Experience.
My career path: Unpaid intern, paid intern, photo-assistant, producer, associate photographer, commercial photographer, director, creative director, production company owner, owner of multiple rental studios, global lead photographer, studio manager, studio director, senior director of creative operations.
As a photographer I created images for dozens of global ad campaigns, hundreds of album packages, hundreds of magazine covers and feature stories, and tens of thousands of premium stock images. As a production company owner, a corporate manager, a Creative Director and as a leader, I’ve recruited, hired, and trained individual creative professionals and entire teams globally.
My experience includes building creative production mega-studios from the ground up, which means navigating the architectural and interior design, logistical challenges, legal teams and documents, financial reporting, budget forecasting, and any manner of political obstacles. I have a proven track record of relocating large production studios operations nationwide and transitioning operations between in-house organizations and agency production environments and setting-up qualified external vendors to handle overflow or featured productions.
Whether you’re a creative professional or a Creative Leader, I can help you identify and understand the challenges lurking in your blind spots and help you plan for the obstacles you’ll face as you tackle large-scale projects and advance your career.
Whatever level you enter into our relationship, you’ll come out the other side many levels higher and prepared for success beyond all reasonable expectations.

My coaching focuses primarily on seasoned creative professionals and leaders (freelance or full-time employees) who have been successful and reached many of their original goals they’ve set for themselves. But the approach or techniques that have made them successful in the past are not adequate for the level they now find themselves. For others their industry has changed so much those techniques and approaches are becoming less and less relevant.

It’s actually very complementary. Each position affects the other in the most direct and influential way. To be successful each of those categories need one another performing at their best for everyone to be successful.

There are 2 ways to look at the cost of coaching: 1st as immediate cost (as shown in the Courses section, and 2nd, these fees viewed as a long-term ROI (Return on Investment).
To using the old adage, “You get what you pay for.” I not only provide immediate answers and solutions, my programs set you up for success for years to come. So, in the 1st view, my 25+ years of experience have a high value. And for the 2nd view, you have to look at the cost as a percentage of your elevated income after applying your learnings from my programs over the next 2~3 years of income. In most cases even my most expensive fees are less than 1% of your total income over that time frame.

All high-performing amateur and professional athletes have coaches even though they have trained for and performed these actions all their lives. Most top executives and leaders have coaches too. The reality is that 99% of individuals striving for high performance and ambitious goals often struggle with self-assessment. Without CLARITY on why we do the things we do, and a SOLID plan forward, we can be too hard or too lenient on ourselves, unsure when to push harder or when to rest and recover.
This happens because at a subconscious level most of us lack CLARITY about our foundational values and goals. This lack of CLARITY impacts our mindset, internal rhythms, work habits, and our connections with others. Many of us mistakenly believe that systems and rhythms that work well for others should automatically work for us. When these are out of alignment with who we really are as individuals, fear and doubt can creep in, distracting us from the right path forward. This misalignment stalls or stops progress and can even lead to a downward spiral.
Does this sound familiar? Does some or all of this apply to you? If a solid and strong connection with a coach can give you immediate clarity eliminate all those struggles, and set a plan in motion for years to come … what do you think now?

In short, I deepen a team’s understanding of itself, align their goals, motivate them to overcome any new challenges together, and exceed all reasonable expectations of what they are capable of.
I facilitate important team discussions around repeated challenges, new projects & clients, ensuring all voices are heard, helping your team reach a consensus around foundational topics and drivers. I allow the team’s Leadership to fold back into the team somewhat, creating a more collaborative and productive environment that feels novel and fresh to the team, bringing new energies for navigating significant changes. This also allows the Leader to not be concerned with organizing the materials and the message, which in-turn allows the entire team, top to bottom, to redefine itself and understand how best to achieve its goals more effectively and efficiently
